Nice shots, Lanie. Like you, I love a good close-up in the garden. That fly is fab!
Awesome shots and nice composition. I've always the photos that are posted in blogs. Most are probably done with a iphone like mine and we all get to experience that little thrill of taking a great shot. I love your zoom also. I think the professional photographers must be doing it tough these days as so many amazing shots come from amateurs. Glad you a blogging again.
Great shots Lani - particularly like the lime flower. Love the detail :)
These are lovely Lani, I must get myself a better zoom! I love citrus flowers.
You are growing cotton????? I'd love to see how it's coming along.
Great photos! I'm feeling a little frustrated with my camera, it's a nice small one to pop in my handbag, but the zoom and macro functions aren't as good as my previous camera. Problem was, the rechargeable batteries finally expired and I can no longer get replacements.
Thanks all. Yes, Mac_fromAustralia...we are growing cotton. It has formed big bolls (that's what you call them I think). I'll do an update when I get home (I'm in the UK for work at the moment). And yes, the zoom on this new camera is incredible. I think the quality is better than my big SLR! It is an waterproof Olympus compact (TG1...or TG2). The diving pics that we took were amazing too.
My son's PHONE is a better camera than my CAMERA. Amazing how technology has progressed.
I hope you are enjoying your time in the UK!
